Manny Pacquiao dominated Miguel Cotto via a 12th round TKO to snatch the WBO Welterweight belt from Miguel Angel Cotto!
The fight started competitively with Miguel Cotto fighting a very smart fight by being patient, picking his shots and fighting behind a very sharp left jab. Manny Pacquiao had problems penetrating Cotto's defense while continue to be hit by the power punches of Miguel Cotto.
However, once Manny find some openings in Cotto's defense, he started landing his very famous power combos that left Oscar Dela Hoya defenseless.
As Cotto received more punishment from Manny Pacquiao, he started back-pedaling like most of Manny Pacquiao's opponents in the past once they tasted the power of Manny Pacquiao. It got worse to the point that Cotto literally was running inside the ring like Joan Guz-run. Only this time, Cotto was running away from Manny Pacquio's power punches!
Finally, on the 12th round referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight after Cotto refused to fight back and just kept on running inside the ring. Pacquiao won his 7th title -- the WBO Welterweight Championship Belt -- in as much as 7 weigth division. A feat that no boxer in the entire history of boxing was able to do.
Truly Manny Pacquiao's performance is amazing, and he will go down to the annals of boxing as the greatest boxer in the world and in the entire history of boxing!
